Disclaimer

This Disclaimer provides legal notices and guidelines for users of Cortensor's materials, including its website, whitepapers, roadmap, technical documentation, and related content.

1. Informational Purpose Only

The content provided by Cortensor in any form—such as whitepapers, roadmap documents, and technical papers—is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as financial, investment, legal, or other professional advice.

2. No Ownership Rights

The $COR token is a utility token designed for access to and interaction with the Cortensor platform in a testnet/devnet environment. Holding $COR tokens does not grant the user any form of ownership, equity, shares, voting rights, or any similar rights in Cortensor, its assets, or its intellectual property. The token confers only a limited, revocable license for platform interaction.

3. Testnet/Devnet Environment

Cortensor’s platform and the $COR token are currently designated for use in testnet/devnet environments. As such, the $COR token serves as an experimental, non-commercial tool within the Cortensor ecosystem and does not offer any financial value, promise of transferability, or guarantee of transition to mainnet.

4. No Inducement to Purchase Tokens

Cortensor’s materials, including website content and technical documentation, should not be interpreted as an inducement or solicitation to purchase $COR tokens. The $COR token is intended solely for participation within the Cortensor ecosystem, and any token-related activities are undertaken at the user’s discretion and risk.

5. Limited Use of $COR Tokens

$COR tokens are designed solely for platform interaction in a testnet/devnet environment. Cortensor disclaims any liability or guarantees related to the value, functionality, or usability of $COR outside its specified platform functions. Use of $COR for any purpose outside the Cortensor ecosystem is neither supported nor warranted.

6. Network Protection and Blacklisting

To ensure the integrity, security, and proper functioning of its network and ecosystem, Cortensor reserves the full and unilateral right to blacklist, freeze, or otherwise restrict access to any wallet address and the $COR tokens held within it. This action may be taken if Cortensor, in its sole discretion, determines that the address poses a threat to the network, is involved in fraudulent or malicious activities, or violates the platform's terms or applicable laws.

7. No Guarantee of Token Value or Financial Gain

Cortensor provides no guarantee, warranty, or assurance about the value, stability, or future potential of the $COR token. Users should exercise caution and assume that $COR has no financial value, including the possibility of a complete loss of funds.

8. Assumption of Risk

Engaging with Cortensor’s platform and $COR tokens involves substantial risk, including the potential loss of the entire amount spent on tokens. Users acknowledge the high-risk nature of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology and assume full responsibility for all risks associated with interacting with Cortensor and $COR.

9. Release of Liability

By accessing or using any Cortensor materials, services, or tokens, users agree to release and hold harmless Cortensor, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and successors from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from or related to Cortensor’s services, $COR tokens, and any use thereof. This release includes all potential financial, legal, or operational impacts.

10. Disclaimers for Mainnet or Future Development

Any information about potential mainnet launches, token transitions, or further platform development is speculative and subject to change without notice. Cortensor disclaims any obligation or commitment to deploy a mainnet or transition $COR tokens to a mainnet environment. There is no warranty that any future developments will be implemented as described or on any set timeline.

11. No Arbitration Clause

Given that the holding of $COR tokens confers no ownership or financial rights, and due to the experimental and high-risk nature of the project, users expressly agree that there is no basis for any legal dispute, claim, or cause of action against Cortensor. To the fullest extent permissible by law, the user hereby irrevocably and unconditionally waives any and all right to pursue any form of dispute resolution, including but not limited to arbitration, class action, or individual legal proceedings in any jurisdiction, arising from or related to their interaction with Cortensor's platform, materials, or $COR tokens. The user acknowledges that their engagement is a voluntary participation in a test environment with no expectation of profit or protected rights.

12. Transfer Restrictions

Users acknowledge that $COR tokens may have restrictions on transferability within Cortensor’s testnet/devnet environment. Tokens may only be used within Cortensor’s network in accordance with platform guidelines and applicable laws.

13. Third-Party Partnerships and Integrations

Cortensor may engage in partnerships with third-party organizations. Such partnerships do not constitute endorsements, nor does Cortensor assume any responsibility or liability for third-party services, products, or practices. Cortensor disclaims any representations about the security, functionality, or appropriateness of third-party offerings.

14. Modification and Notice

Cortensor reserves the right to modify or update this Disclaimer or any related materials at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting on Cortensor’s website or other official communication channels. Users and participants in Cortensor’s ecosystem are responsible for regularly reviewing this Disclaimer to stay informed of modifications.

Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By accessing, reading, or using Cortensor’s information and materials, users acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Disclaimer. Users assume full responsibility for any risks, liabilities, or losses associated with Cortensor, including the use of $COR tokens in its current testnet/devnet environment.
